Carrot Broth (x4)

This is really nice if you're leveling BST or have some friends leveling it. Also nice and cheap to make, you can always sell it back to the NPC. Recommended: Camp yourself in San d'Oria for a few days where you can buy the carrots at the Grocery Store.

Peeled Crayfish

Another cheap skill up, you can really save some gil by planting yourself in Windurst and fishing up the Crayfish yourself using Little Worms which are cheap at AH or Fishing Guild. These sell well at the Fishing Guild.

Pebble Soup

A cheap skill up and you can sometimes sell these pretty well on the Windurst AH because it's one of the Guild Points Foods. If you go to South Gustaberg and level a job on worms you'll get plenty of the Flint Stones. The Distilled Water you can get cheap from the Tavern in Windurst. This and the HQ version are also a pretty nice 3hr food for low level jobs.

Herbal Broth (x4)

This one can be a little pricey because of the Frost Turnips, but it's a really nice broth for low level BST; if you're leveling that, you will use it. Otherwise you might want to give it a bit of a miss unless you do your own gardening, you can grow the Frost Turnips for a reasonable price.

Boiled Crayfish

A cheap one especially if you fish up the Crayfish yourself and farm the Fire crystals. It's a nice change from Orange Juice if you've been skilling up on that and are a little sick of the sight of oranges! Good low level tank food too.

Orange Juice

You can start on this one around the level of 5 and continue right through to level 10. It's cheap and easy. Just plant yourself in Windurst Waters at the NPC who sells the Oranges and you're set. These don't resell the best, if you're not using them or giving them to friends, I recommend just reselling them to the NPC when you get full.

Carrion Broth (x4)

Another good one if you're going to be leveling BST. The Rotten Meat can be a little harder to come by sometimes, but it is a nice and easy recipe. You can farm the hare meat leveling low jobs in Ronfaure.

Herb Paste (x2)

Not such a good one to skill up on. However, if you garden and raise chocobos this can be something for you to try. You buy the Millet from the NPC by the stables in San d'Oria for 1-1.5k. It can be a bit of a pricey level, but if you're already buying this for your chocobo, might be worth making yourself.

Sliced Sardine (x2)

REALLY cheap skill up if you fish the sardines yourself. You only need a Sabiki Rig and plant yourself on the pier at Port Windurst. You can sell the Sardines back to the Guild or use them for fishing later on.

Honey (x4)

Cheap if you farm the Beehive Chips yourself in Sarutabaruta or I recommend going with a mid-level job and farming in Giddeus for the chips. Sell on AH, or store for cooking later on.

Bug Broth (x4)

Another awesome broth to skill up as it's cheap and you can use this a lot for farming later on with your BST! Also sells quite well on the AH in Jeuno.

Apple Juice

Cheap to make and if you're leveling a mage this will help a lot! You can also resell to the Grocery Store in San d'Oria where you buy the Apples.

Vegetable Paste (x2)

Again, another good one if you're a gardener and/or chocobo breeder. Because of the cost of the Millet however I wouldn't recommend unless you're going to use for yourself.

Baked Popoto

A cheap one to make, and not a bad food for leveling low level jobs. The butter you can actually make for yourself at this level too, but I tend to just buy at the Guild.

Baked Apple

This will occasionally sell well on the AH as it's a Guild Points Item. It's relatively cheap to make, so not bad for skilling up on.

Meat Jerky (x2)

Not a bad food for leveling low level jobs on, and it's really cheap to make if you farm the meat yourself. I recommend killing the Mad Sheep in Konschtat Highlands for that.

Boiled Crab

Definitely recommend farming the meat yourself. But this is a great tanking food for mid-level tanks and sells well on the AH too.

Insect Paste (x12)

Cheap and easy to make, you will always sell these on the AH or in a Bazaar while you're sleeping. If you're a fisherman or someone trying to get LuShangs being able to make this yourself is a definite bonus!

Pineapple Juice

One of my favourites for skilling up! I used Pineapple Juice a lot while leveling mage jobs and PUP so I was always carrying these ingredients around with me, even after I'd moved past the cap!

Carrot Paste x2

Pricey to make if you're buying ingredients from the AH, but this seems somewhat popular with chocobo enthusiasts. Much cheaper if you can grow the carrots yourself. I wouldn't bother trying to skill up on it unless I was using it for Chocobo Raising.

Rice Balls

Much cheaper if you grow the rice yourself. You can also fish up the kelp from the docks in Port Windurst.

Nebimonite Bake

Very cheap to make if you fish up the Nebimonites yourself on the Selbina Boat. Sells well on the AH as it's a fantastic mid to high level tanking food.

Black Bread x4

This is a really nice, cheap skill up. But because the Rye Flour doesn't stack I recommend camping at the Guild and buying a few at a time. This is one of the Guild Points Items so it sometimes sells quite well on the Windurst AH.

Fish Broth x2

Another great one for your BST! Plus it's really cheap to make if you fish the sardines yourself. Sells well on the AH too.

Meat Mithkabobs x6

Wonderful for skilling up on, and will always sell well on the AH. Save costs if you have a high level job by farming the Cockatrice Meat in Onzozo, buying the peppers from regional merchants, and growing/farming the onions yourself.

Melon Juice

This is a nice recipe to skill up on if you can find the melons cheap, usually from a regional merchant. However the Thundermelons in particular are usually very costly at the guild and not recommended to buy there. These sell well on AH or in Bazaar, and excellent for your mage jobs.

Pie Dough x4

You'll want to save these if you can because you'll use them later on for making Pie. Cheap to make and you'll use later, you can't lose on this recipe.

White Bread x4

Again, cheap to make, especially if you saved that honey from leveling earlier on.

Cinna-Cookie

Useful if you're leveling mages. Sells OK on the AH, though a little slower than Ginger Cookies. On the plus side you can substitute a Bird Egg for the Lizard Egg and it ups the cap to 49.

Apple Pie

Nice for mages, sells a little slowish on AH from memory. On the plus side it's cheap to make and you can use up all that Pie Dough you were making a while back! Substitute a Bird Egg for the Lizard Egg and it ups the cap to 50.

Grape Juice

Nice and cheap for skill ups. Sell ok on AH or in a Bazaar. Great for mages. Plant yourself in San d'Oria at the grocery store for the grapes and you're good to go.

Crayfish Balls

Nice and cheap to make, and excellent for the fisherman who wants to catch Nebimonites on the Selbina Boat! These balls will do the trick and saves you the risk of losing your Shrimp Lure. Sells well on AH too.

Carp Sushi

I used this sushi for skilling up basically because I catch the carp and grow the rice myself making it a very cheap venture. I was also able to reuse it for myself while leveling PUP.

Beaugreen Sautee

This is one of the Guild Point Items so you can sometimes sell them well on the AH. It's also reasonably cheap to skill up on, depending on what you can get the Beaugreens for.

Ginger Cookie x33

Really, by about 55 I was on to skilling up on Yag Drinks just because I can use them and they're less ingredients to mess with. However, this is a nice recipe for the mages out there, and also can earn you a little bit on the AH.
